Amazing platter comprising loads of little, strikingly different dishes. Authentic, naturally gluten free injera (I think the whole menu was gluten free, with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans too). We were so full by the end but determined to finish everything! Thank you for a lovely evening.

First time trying Ethiopian food and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Eating with my hands was definitely an experience and each component had its own flavour so you’re able to combine any per mouthful.

My first time trying Ethiopian/Eritrean food was so great! This restaurant is almost more like a cafe in size and layout, but with nice simple music and decor giving it some ambience. As neither my dinner mate nor I had tried this cuisine before we got the mixed platters - mine vegan, his mixed veggie and meat. We both thorough enjoyed it! We spoke to the woman working there and she showed us how to eat authentically without cutlery, which hand to use etc. We felt welcomed and well treated throughout, and the food was excellent. I'd certainly go back and try more of the menu! The woman was very knowledgeable about which items were vegan suitable which was greatly reassuring for me.

Lovely small, homely restaurant. Great place to have Ethiopian food in Nottingham, especially if you want to try something different. As everyone says the sharing Injera is amazing and also plenty to eat.

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT. First experience eating Ethiopian food. Our server was the most helpful and the food was absolutely amazing . We tried their vegetarian platter which was full of flavours and textures. Must visit if you are looking for a unique experience or just good food.

Visiting Nottingham and fancied something different...so by the power of Google, I found this gem. Thankfully I got in early as it was soon packed and no wonder why...when explaining my wishes, the lady serving said she could do a plate for one so that I could get a feel for the cusine. She explained how to use the 'pancake' for my food (bit like Sadza). Whilst the quantity defeated me, the quality kept me trying for just one more bite. I can not rate this highly enough...if I lived in Nottingham, this would be a regular haunt. Brilliant. Thankyou for a fantastic meal.

Food was fantastic, a must try. Service was incredible, they were super friendly and gave us great recommendations. Will go again. We got 2 of these big plates for 7 people and it was a good amount. We got to try so many different dishes from this. All of them were incredible.

Incredible meal and incredible service. The food absolutely blew me away it was so flavourful and incredible portions. Even if you’ve never tried Ethiopian food before you learn how to eat it and how incredible it is. You can ask whatever questions you want as the manager is lovely. Please, try this place!
